How much porn do you have (be honest!)

This is an interesting question I think. Some people simply stream porn, or download it, watch it once or twice and delete it... because maybe they are only interested in the next guy, or new porn. Others like the idea of wading through tonnes of porn to find a special or really hot vid --and then watching it over and over (and over!). And some of us are porn archivists! Or porn historians who wish to preserve all kinds of porn for posterity! But some are a mixture of the above descriptions, or their interest in porn will go up and down (pun intended) over time.

One interesting indication is this simple question: how much porn do you have, right now? Do you imagine that you'll dump it at some stage... or will you keep it until the day you die?

And one final question just for the seeders: do you 'get off' by sharing porn, at some level? What does this mean? Well, for me, if I find a really hot vid, a dying torrent maybe, and then start sharing it... well I don't so much 'get off' on sharing the find with others, it's just a cool concept for me: to find and share porn that can give others a lot of pleasure, especially if it's porn that otherwise might go extinct, so to say. :devil:

Since it's supposed to be a family pc (but I'm the main user, my bro usually uses his own, my parents use this no more once a month), I have to keep it low, around 4 GB of my favourites, then another 1 GB of watch-and-delete videos (there's already half hard disk full, so I have to keep the free space to a reasonable level, or it would look strange...)

Maybe we live in golden era of file sharing. We don't know what tomorrow will bring, so it's good to have some stock around I download only the things I really like. Reason? Well to have them at hand when needed. That's why order and transparency on the disk is needed otherwise it's useless to download stuff (if you can't find it later). I will definitely pass my collections to friends (for free of course), I already do it now. It's a nice feeling making guys happy.

The other thing is I treat disks with high caution and will certainly backup things parallel to technology development. There are constantly making better and bigger drives with good performance, safety etc. Many of stuff which we collect now will be kind of vintage 10 years from now, it'll be rare and appreciated.

It'll be good to bring up some good memories in 2020.

That desire for new things drives me to download more too. Most porn disappoints and 95% of what I've got is either utter crap or I'll watch a few times and get completely bored with it.

I have a cupboard full of CDs and DVDs full of all kinds of filth from photos to complete movies. Most of it goes ignored. Does that mean I should throw most of it out? Yes. Will I? Probably not.

Why don't you take some time and go through all DVDs, keep the content you really like (by transferring it to a huge harddrive) and get rid of the rest? I had a similar problem while having stuff on DVDs - I never really watched it.

On the other hand - when you forget your DVDs this way by having them lost somewhere in a huge cupboard - I guess it must be a kind of a pleasant experience when you re-descover them after a long time again, isn't it? The only problem is DVDs could get destroyed by time especially if you marked them with alcohol markers. Or some older CDs don't work with new dvd drives anymore.

Ionce had about 30GB which was a lot I think. But I acidently deleted the whole hard drive.
Now I'm at 6,8GiB but rarely watch em.

Off topic but....

Never had a real problem with any CD of any vintage back to about 2002. But I have had problems with DVDs. Odd errors which rendered the disc/discs unreadbale. Some just rotted away. It looked like a kind of fungus/mould was eating the inner metal foil.

Better that than dropping a 1TB drive a few months back and waving bye-bye to months and months of downloads. I said it just died on me and the guy in the shop exchanged it, but I was worried he might get it working again and discover all that porn! P
