Okay, this question continues to intrigue me, so let me add detail and math figures to it. Because I'd also like to know myself. And, surprise, I'm downloading as I type this as well.

According to the outboard, 1 terabyte harddrive I store them in, I downloaded nine clips yesterday totaling 6.96 gigabytes. One or two of those were from slow, free-user level transfers, but the others were all from a pay service and my DSL pretty much maxes out at a 350kb/sec transfer speed (and that of course is when one at a time). This was all in addition to whatever non-porn activity I did on the pc yesterday, and non-pc activity as well, such as eating, sleeping, showering, running errands, and all those other pesky interruptions that keep any of us from becoming a proper cyborg.

None of those nine have I watched end-to-end, nor whatever I downloaded the day before. Each was quick perused at different stop points to make sure it was what it was supposed to be, had proper beginning and ending points, then moved on to the next thing to be downloaded.

That outboard harddrive was started in use in April and is now 61% full with 619 clips, and nothing else but porn clips. That harddrive augments an earlier, 500 gigabyte harddrive that's full, and a third will surely be needed sometime in '17.

All of that is supplemented by 8 totes full of DVDs, (about 350 discs per tote) with two and a half hours each of porn per disc, a collection began in January 2009, and most of that material, once burned to disc was removed from the harddrive space it first occupied. Factor in all the old VHS I mentioned, and if 'littlebob' is an 'addict' with 5TB, I'm overdue for a straitjacket. 'mrcrownroyal' is a man after my own heart too: "If I really like a scene, I have to own it."

Before fast connections were common I would download everything, but with a fast internet link there's not much need these days.

Okay, last night I got one of those reminders I'm well past critical mass.

While (naturally) looking for something else, I found two clips of long-gone Donny Wright bottoming, something I thought I and the world didn't have nearly enough of. I have a couple a dozen movies, a couple hundred gay clips, and thousands of pic series. I followed Gay Heaven in its golden days when people would share 40 to 50 new pic sets a day on the gay pictures thread. All together, my collection is about 1.25 terabytes.

My video collection is relatively small because there are too many limp dicks in gay movies. If one of the performers can't get a hard-on, then I delete the clip because it is just not masturbation worthy.

Most of the fun of collecting pic sets is the organization. I organize them by studio, jerk off, rate the models, jerk off, delete the duplicates, jerk off, categorize them by penis size, jerk off...you get the picture...

I did the Tumblr thing for about 3 years, with the help of GayHeaven pic sets, and got pretty obsessive about it (18k followers). Then they nuked my account. So now I let my gay porn interests "control my mind and cock" for about 3-4 days a month. Much better balance...!

As I said before, I don't have any porn stored, and don't feel I need it. nor do I visit any pay sites. It would make no sense for me to do so, when I can find free porn on XTube and places like that that I find not merely as good as commercial porn, but better. They are better because they are made by amateurs who are simply doing what they enjoy.

Right now there is 147 Gigs on my hard drive. I used to have an external hard drive of 1TB that had about 750GB on it until it was all wiped out accidentally wiped out when I reformatted my hard drive and didn't unplug the external and it wiped it out as well.

I'll probably keep it all until the day I die. lol. I have it all pretty much sorted out so when I'm in a particular mood, or have a friend that wants to see something, I can easily find it.
