I got used to living in the dark. Just glad it wasn't hot where you need AC at night. I pic-niced out of the supermarket every night for supper, went to the cafe in the AM for coffee. and late night to read. Luckily I did a load of dishes and clothes before the storm so I had plenty. Actually I was able to cook but felt like getting out more than usual.
There are still lots of people with no power, especially out in the woods. Alot of those people have no water, or septic. One poor guy's house burned to the ground when the power came back.
There are some handicapped peopled trapped in their houses. I hooked up my laptop to the cell phone so I had internet, and rigged up some power from the car battery so I had a few watts to charge the phone/computer/a couple of lights.
