I stumbled on a great resource for finding performers, directors, titles and companies:

Text-based (so it loads fast) but with many, many images of video covers, including ones that are no longer in circulation.

Whoever these guys are, they are doing a fantastic job compiling this huge encyclopedia. I don't know how often they update, but I find many entries as recent as 2011.

Entries even go back to precious vintage 8mm sources.

If you are looking for a particular performer, director, title or company, don't bother with moviemountain or tlavideo or the like, which are hopelessly inaccurate, incomplete and bloated with ads. Go to this site to start your quest.

And best of all: NO ADS, no popups (at least with Chrome), no redirects, no hijacking, no phishing.

If you are building a collection or just curious about something you have discovered on GH, check it out.
