I Love Lucy and Rome

Here in Holland they brought back a comedy series called Zeg eens AAA ( Say AAA)
which was one of the best if not the best dutch comedy in the 80's in 2009 and to me it really sucked big time it just didn't have the same magic it had back in the day.
The problem i think is with series like I love Lucy, Perry Mason, Dynasty and other old series that it also has to do with our own (sentimental) memories that they would never work today
