Ingrowing Hair

I've got one on my face and it's driving me MAD! It's really really itchy, which is making me scratch it, which is making it sore >_<.

Is there any way of getting rid of them more easily or any general tricks/tips you guys have for dealing with them? First time I've gotten one I think >_<

what tis ingrowing hair? if its exactly wat it sounds like, how do you know? u wouldn't be able to see it? or can u? sorry im not much help

It's literally a hair that grows under the skin. It shows up as a swollen lump generally, and you just kinda know that it is one XD. Tends to happen most often after you've recently shaved. It's not more dangerous than an irritation but it's a damned irritating irritation!

ewww, i don't know, i'd prolly think it wasa pimple if i had such a thing...perhaps a visit to your GP should be in order.

Oh no, it's nothing like that. Some people just get them all the time. They just kinda appear as a spot and go away in time. But they're just damned annoying when you get them. To the point that I really wanna take a knife and cut the bugger out!

arggh bummerz dude. I googled and got some long winded articles. Basically the general consesus is just plucking it out with a tweezer and being careful not to get infections. So i guess you might just have to close your eyes and take in the pain. At least for the split second

try hydrogen peroxide...put it on and it will dry it up and then you should be able to pluck it out i hate ingrowing hairs, they hert like hell most times
