We all knew this was coming (Facebook acquired it) but the new policy (which goes into effect on January 16th) its beyond ridiculous. A clear privacy violation! Quote from the new policy:
It seems thats the price for a free service. If the product is free, then you are the product.
Update: Instagram's response. Two useful quotes:
You might not "plan" to do it, doesn’t mean you WON’T do it.
