I never say anything that I don't mean at the time I say it. Sure, my mind can be changed, but what I say is me at the time.

I hate lies, I hate hidden agendas. (If you ever do lie and it's found out the results can be far worse than telling the truth in the beginning !)

If you have a valid point and use "fuck" or similar to embellish it then OK, but if something upsets you, you give your reasons in plain terms.

Just posting offense is not going to help anyone, including yourself. We all have our anger moments, but it always looks a lot worse written.

I don't think its possible to be honest to EVERYone, but you can be honest all the time to a chosen few. Those are called friends.

I try to be as honest as possible to everyone else though, but sometimes you just have to use a little white lie.

I dont really believe in honesty........i believe you have to protect yourselves from anyone and observe from afar whether or not they're good people....i do this mainly because I've met so many people who love to deceive and a hidden agenda. I usually lie to distance myself and only say what i want people to know.......but online, i have no reason to lie, hence telling you the truth now mainly because there's privacy here

Xman's mean by nature :x jk xD. It's impossible to be honest with everyone cuz if you do that... U'll end up not having any1 to be honest to xDDD. Some ppl cant take criticism... others cant hear anything they dont want to... and those that u jsut need to... put some make up on ur words so they sound less ugly xDDD... If it's something I cant say without hurting someone I usually try to change the subject abruptly... like falling on the ground all of a sudden(they know I'm clumsy so it's no biggie), or anything that would take ppl attenction off the current subject... It's not cool to lie but I'm not exactly a nice person when it comes to telling the truth... There are also those things that u better just ignore and dont let ppl know... So complicated, depends on the situations... they usually work against the one who know the truth anyway xD. Totally went off from what I planned to say -_-. Well there are some ppl that know about me but dont feel comfortable enough for me to be open in front of them, so I kinda avoid making out, telling stories and making "gay" comments, it doesnt bother me cuz it's not like they dont know who I am... every1 have their limitations right?

U can always mean what u say, but you migth be wrong. Honesty isnt necessery anyways. Its overrated. Lying, not telling everything, white lies and so on make life much more pleasant. The movie "invention of lying" is great movie about the subject.

Or you might end up befriending honest people. The question here resides in having tact when asked for an honest answer. I won't tell somebody that his/her haircut is downright ugly since it's only a matter of opinion, though if asked about my opinion, I might tell them that personally, I don't like it. If the person is hurt by that answer, well he/she's the one who asked. Okay, it doesn't fill one's Faceprout page, though you know the selected friends you have are real.

I think the times when it's difficult to be honest for me is when somebody gives me a present which I dislike, so I try to be pleasant because the person who gave me the said present made an effort to please me when he/she didn't have to do that.

Surrounded by honest ppl... Sry but the idea of an utopia or perfect world/life/relationships just bore the hell out of me. I think I'd end up crazy,depressed, or even doing something REALLY stupid if I found myself in a happy happy life. I mean, not that I like to have issues and all but... what about the challenge? That lil spice? Or even the gossips... admit u all like it xD. SUrrounded by honest ppl the gossips would just... vanish u.u(they're usually backstabbing tales anyway)

Hehehe, half-agreed. I'm not one to spread tales or hidden truths, that's really not my style... but I admit I really get excited to hear something juicy : x cant help it xD. Doesnt have to be a groundbreaking, friend related topic to be gossip. See our celebrity thread for example... Or anything not related to our members, in a way may be seen as gossip as well, eh? It's not like we're flamming ppl to the crazy cat lover neighbour of ours xD
