i am open and honest with everyone i have nothing to hide or be ashamed of--well in my eyes i havent in others i may have done stuff i need be ashamed of but i am not--i figure once parents know you are gay and all any other secrets arent really necessary

Yes it is possible to be honest with someone. For myself, I have six close buddies who has been in my life over the past sixteen years, and I can confide in them about anything and it stays between us. Im a lucky guy..

I can't do it, it would make life too aggrevating. I lie to my mom a lot, not big lies but "why didn't you answer the phone....I was asleep" when I really just didn't feel like being bothered or not replying to friends "immediately" when sometimes I just forget.
