As far as I know (and have read...) None of the Hindu scriptures say homosexuality is bad... So whats not bad, must be good
And basically, homosexuality was quite common and accepted in India till the victorian brits came with their ideas of morality... and sadly its still those archaic laws (section 377) which are used to discriminate against gays (while britain has moved far ahead in the meantime)
Your right, homosexuality was accpeted in India, but it was actually the Mughal Empire that started changing social norms to try and conform with the Islamic ideal that homosexuality is wrong. The British just came along and put the nail in the coffin by making it law. If i remember my history.
