In The Netherlands you get a standard pension when you retire. Beside that. people save money for an extra pension. Each group of workers have their own organisation for that. So construction workers, people who work in the transport section etc. Also the people that are working in the stock market have their own organisation for extra pension. And guess what, the stock market pension organisation got in trouble. They are not able to pay their members a proper extra pension. Reason, well I think you can guess it: bad investment!
