Looking Season 2 Has Arrived

[Now&Forever]

I watched season 1 even though it was a bit boring, with each episode ending before it had a chance to go anywhere. I wanted to like it more than I did.


I've been taping season 2 and have just watched 4 or 5 episodes.
Patrick gets far too much screen time, and seems shoehorned into scenes where he isn't needed. Fast becoming the most irritating character on tv !
I've stuck with it to see more of Doms friendship with Doris - the only relationship I cared about.

I can understand why people think it's boring. It doesn't have those weird, flashy or bigger than life characters - the main characters at least. They don't have the Brian or Justin from QAF who go by no apologies and no regrets.

But I like it more because of that. I can relate to most of the characters in Looking. It's very introspective and silent and the story creeps up on you. But I guess it's really not for everybody since the style is very intricate.

Looking Cancelled After Two Seasons — Will Wrap Up With HBO Special

HBO has cancelled sophomore series “Looking.”

The half-hour series that ended its second season on March 22 will wrap up with a final special to close out the various storylines.

“After two years of following Patrick and his tight-knit group of friends as they explored San Francisco in search of love and lasting relationships, HBO will present the final chapter of their journey as a special,” HBO said in a statement. “We look forward to sharing this adventure with the shows loyal fans.”
