I was perusing a thread on this question from a week or two back(all 3 pages of it)& I can't believe no one here has heard of the amazing Canadian indie group The Hidden Cameras.One of their songs(the very cool & brilliant "Boys of Melody")was used in the movie "Short Bus".Also,several of their songs featured prominently in the brilliant gay coming-of-age film "Whole New Thing".You can find a number of their cute,low-budget videos on YouTube as well as some concert footage.They're very good live & have a devoted cult following...kind of a gay Grateful Dead of Eastern Canada.Extremely worth a few mouse-clicks of looking in to.Trust me on this...I'm Dr.Knowitall...
