Yeah well if you´re happy with waiting for 3 days every time you downloaded a small amount, which in effect makes your 30 day subscription worth about 10 days, then guess there aint a problem and you think its a wonderful service.

Most of us I reckon probably think otherwise!

Could be worse - try having an account with Filesonic - their premium download speeds are so poor you feel as though you are using an old dial-up modem.

I think my top two would be fileserve and megaupload.
I have had zero issues out of those guys...

Agree, however I've also seen speed limits on Fileserve degrade to the point where it's almost impossible to download anything.

Megaupload appears to be rather safe.

That's a really tough question...

It all depends on your location and ISP. While one host may be lighting fast in the United States, it may be slow as hell in Europe or unavailable in Asia.

So far the majority of members I've spoken with agree that MediaFire not only works best, but is the most user friendly, even to free users. Hell, their free service is as good or better than most others Premium memberships.

MegaUpload is another member favorite, although some German members have had difficultly using it.

Well, i've just recently bought an Oron-Premium-Account, because the stuff i wanted to download wasn't hosted by any other service. So i haven't had any problems with download limits. Yet.

But there's another thing that is bothering me. There seems to be no way to activate a Direct-Download-Option. In other words, to mark a bunch of links and transfer them to a download manager, without Oron's "Create a download link" page for every single link. Does any of you guys have a solution? I'd be grateful for any hint. I'm using DownThemAll! and FlashGot with Firefox, and/or JDownloader.

And yes, i do also have a Filesonic-Premium-Account. Until now i haven't had any significant problems. Sometimes the speed is a bit slow, but that's all. I think that depends on the server the files are stored internally at Filesonic, and how much traffic this server has to handle. In most cases it helps to abort the download for this particular file and restart it after a short moment. Whenever possible, i.e. for complete movies, i do not use a single link, but the splitted ones, to minimize the chance of a slow connection. Or, maybe, it's just working better from Germany than from other countries. But that's just my opinion - for what it's worth.
