In the meantime I've been exploring old threads and other areas.

I joined one of the GH social groups.

I started a social group for Animated GIFS.

I've been doing house cleaning on hard drives cleaning out old files.

It is better to keep my hands and mind busy than to twiddle my thumbs and wait.

I know they're working on it and that's the best news yet, hehe.

What's really interesting is that while the "latest post" entry for The Help Center on the main index page shows 0742 today on it, when I click on the icon I get a "last" post from 08-15-2014, 10:09 AM.

After 5 days now, it starts to be terrific annoying. Could anyone of the techs could give us a small notice how long it will last uintil GH is ready to use as we are accustomed to. It seems to be here like the Berlin Airport which will perhaps never be ready -

Your frustration is understandable but it is also possible to put a positive spin on the situation. Look how much fresh porn continues to be posted everyday, just as much as before the problems started. These posters have refused to let mere server troubles get in the way of their mission to keep the collective meat beating, gentlemen, I salute you.

A solution to the forum problem

I posted this on another thread but it got buried... so here it is again


Here's a sort of work-around the access problem:

On the main index page use the in the "last post" section to open a thread... "gay clips" or "gay picture collections" for example. Once you are there (at the most recently added post) scroll up to the top of the page and click on "gay clips" or "gay picture collections" as shown here:

Free Gay Porn Forum Community > GAY VIDEO FORUMS > Gay Clips

Community > GAY PICTURES FORUMS > Gay Picture Collections

and that will take you to page 1 of that board. You should be able to open page 2 and other pages on the board in the normal way but you need the next work around below to move around pages "within" a thread

To open a thread ALWAYS use the --- clicking on the thread title or
"Last page" will sometimes take you back to the index page ~X(

By using the in any threads "last post" section you should be able to open the thread and see all the posts on the last page. At the top of your screen you will have the url address bar for that thread - for example here's the one for my picture thread. The most recent post is on page 49 (I've highlighted it red below)

To get to the previous page, or any other page on that thread you have to change the 49 above to 48 or 47 etc and hit the "Enter" key if you get either the HTTP 404 Not found or The webpage cannot be found just hit "enter" again or refresh the page and it should work most of the time.
