Last night’s opening episode of BBC One’s new football reality series Class of ’92: Out of their League offered an eye-opening insight in life in the amateur football leagues – no more eye-opening, it seems, than in the locker room of Salford City FC…
The new series follows the ex-Manchester United Ryan Giggs, Phil and Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt – the so-called “Class of ’92” – as they buy a football club seven tiers down from the Premier League and attempt to turn its fortunes around.
To the delight of surely a considerable proportion of viewers however, there was as much time for horsing around too… Enjoy.
