So which do you use?

What are the pros and cons of each?

Any tips?

Any female members can talk about shaving their legs instead! Ditto for long-bearded cyclists...

Regular with Gilette Fusion. Also tried Wiksonson Whatever it's called right now ( it's the one with an integrated electric trimmer on the back side ). But I stick to the Gilette Fusion. Dunno but I don't trust them electric dry shavers.

An epilator is an electrical device used to remove hair by mechanically grasping multiple hairs simultaneously and pulling them out. The way in which epilators pull out hair is similar to waxing, although unlike waxing, they do not remove cells from the epithelium of the epidermis. Aside from the spring in early spring-type epilators, there are no parts in epilators that require regular replacement. Epilators come in corded, rechargeable and battery operated designs.

Epilation can be painful to some people because, as with waxing, it involves pulling hair out of the roots. Because of the pain involved being particularly bad on the first epilation of an area, some people prefer to have the area professionally waxed first, then use epilation to remove regrowth.

I tried a lot of foams and creams, even an organic one from my sisters organic shob back when she had it.
But the best one I found is the cheapest one from a supermarket down here. It's not one of the big brands, but for sensitive skin and my skin likes it ^^

I almost never use foam or gel. Just water.

I'm too tired for guess games :(

I had the same problem with the electric razors, by the way, used them a few times and it always ended in rashes.

I don't have an electric shaver.. but I have a normal blade that you put battery in and it vibrates. .:S.. what category does that fall under?

Hybrid shaver?

If you mean the one which looks like an ordinary electric shaver but you can use it in combination with water and foam - this would be a perfect solution for my sensitive skin - if it wasn't so damn expensive

I use King of Shaves gel. Can often find it on special offer so stock it up :p

I only bother shaving about 3 times a week anyway! I know, lazy bastard! :))

Much of the answer about "best razor" will depend on the kind of hair you have. If you're a porcupine like me, you probably can't shave with an electric razor. I have very thick, wiry facial hair and a five-o'clock shadow ten minutes after shaving. I never found an electric razor that could hack through my thatch.

Long ago, I learned that shaving while the shower is running is best. I soap my beard first thing when I turn on the shower and leave the suds on. Then I wash the rest of my bod and hair. When that's all done, then my beard is soft enough to shave, which I can do by feel. When I get out of the shower, I then finish up with the razor at the sink.

Shaving in the shower or not makes much more of a difference for me than what kind of razor I use, although cheap Bic throwaways and the like I don't use. I also shave just twice a week. If I do it any more frequently, then I have problems with ingrown hair. I usually have a short scruff on my face, but that's better than a whole lot of pimples.

what happens when you get an ingrown hair? Or how does that happen?

Shaving the way I do, I rarely get ingrown hairs now. If I do, I usually use a sewing needle to get them above the skin. I'm experienced enough that I can do that without bleeding. On tiny ones, salicylic will work, too.

Well it looks exactly like a regular razor blade, except you just put a little battery in the handle, and it massages your skin. That's all they do really.

I know that types of electric shavers.
But I meant this one:

Yea im with the consensus on this one...i use the manual blades...the schick or w.e blades. That said i have like 2-3 times a month..so i don't have a lot of hair growing out.
