I like saggers.
Maybe it is a kind of playing with erotic feeling but without a real awareness.

since fashion does not allow tight jeans as in earlier periods- like the 70 and 80ths- the boys butts are out of sight and this gives a small opportunity to show a little bit of the desired body parts.

I know this post is a year old, but jeans have been getting tighter for a number of years in this country. One hardly ever sees baggies anymore, and certainly nothing like those pants hanging BELOW the arse like in that billboard. I was in Melbourne about a year ago, and I have not seen so many tight jeans on guys since the late 1960s.

Since you asked, I don't! He looks fine from the waist up, then below the waistline just looks weird to me, and not the slightest bit erotic. The fact that his underwear looks like something out of Grandma's chest of drawers doesn't help matters.

I think that it is a stupid expression, and it used to be indecent exposure in America ti expose your underware. I don't know when that changed. I don't mind the slight sag so much, but I still ask if they need a belt. But if you are purposely dressing like a "thug" as the look is often called then you showed not be surprised when the police treat you like a thug. I also like to ask mothers that are walking with their 8 year old daughters dressed like whores how much they sell their daughters for.

All "thugs" or "prostitutes" don't dress a certain way, so no, neither you nor the police are justified in harassing or judging people based on their outfit. That's just like people who think they have a right to yell "faggot" at any male who's wearing something pink. It's quite ironic that you believe in some old fashioned value of "decency" when it comes to clothing but you have no qualms about being rude, insulting, and confrontational to strangers in public who are minding their own business. You're lucky someone doesn't respond violently or arrest you for soliciting sex for money from a minor.

It makes me laugh to hear people calling other people's choice of dress code as "gross", especially grown-ups in their fifties or sixties who think they are sooooooo mature... Their own personal tastes don't make them any better than anybody else....

Lighten up Nilstreet I'm certainly not advocating anyone being prohibited from expressing themselves, but this is a thread of opinions so that's what we give, just our personal opinions. Without those this discussion area would be almost blank )

Genuinely I just think it looks comical, as do most "youth" fashions to some degree from the last 30 years. I'm not against the diversity of whatever anyone wears but I'm still going to have my opinions and if I think it looks ridiculous I think it looks ridiculous, doesn't mean I'd ban it, but just like the now older generation of the late 60s or 70s they look back and laugh at what they used to wear - as will these guys

Sagged pants are overhyped. However, I do like that somebody is willing to go and grab a billboard in the name of being decent in public. I'll save my view of naughty bits for the porn sites. We should uphold a standard of decency in public.

You are the one on another thread who condemned direct attacks and in your post, you've attacked other people's tastes by qualifying them as "gross". Tastes are not objective. You don't like it? Okay. Though "gross"? That's a bit juvenile.

And my post was directed at you, and also Xman and any other close minded people who think so highly about their own tastes that they qualify everything they dislike as "gross" or "stupid" or "ridiculous" or any other choice words that should stop coming out of people's mouths as maturity sets in

I get that you are trying to define other people's words by your standards - probably just as bad a habit as what you criticize in their choice words to begin with. Gross to me is definitely not what is gross to you. Instead of taking others to task about word choices and how they (in your view) characterize people, maybe just tell us what you like about sagging, in this case.

people are always bitching about the trends of today but the trends of yesterday werent as much better than those would like to act like they were--bellbottoms and all dont appeal to me but it doesnt mean it doesnt appeal to others--i say as long as they arent hurting anyone let them express themselves--but then again i had few friends in their teens--i was at work they were on the corner where i worked at after getting off the schoolbus--and one boy he was like 16 bitching about how no girls wanted him that he would ask them out then they would act like he didnt exist-- they knew i was gay so it wasnt a surprise to them but it was to me as i normally dont express my opinion especially to fellows his age--

Well I think you are, perhaps without fully realizing it. You gave your example and I respect that, of how the term gross affects you. Fine, no argument there. But it's definitely not that way for many thousands of other guys who use the term more loosely to define something unappealing to them but not as severely disgusting as dog feces (stepped in) or vomitus.

And maybe, to some guys, seeing a bare butt in a sexual context in private is very arousing, but they feel rather negatively to seeing underwear-clad buttocks with jeans or trackies improperly worn to expose the rump area. So it really hinges on culture, personal tastes, and personal use of slang - which is changeable from day to day. This is a place for opinions, even though a given descriptor may be more extreme than you personally appreciate.

I used to think that too, but its been going on for 20 years! Although I think its dumb, it is pretty hot to check out all these guys with their ass hanging out.
