Sure, it isn't the worst possible scenario since all other streaming services (like YouTube, Vimeo etc) seems to work very well on GH. But if our friend Asymptotic got it right, the main problem is on the XV1deos side - they have to change some embedding-code...

I have the same problems here in Berlin since now 4 days. Perhaps it should be possible that an admin will connect an technican. Ther MUSt be an error.

Well yes and no: If Asymptotic got it right the main problem is with the XV1deos site, they have to change some certain Embedding-code, and as long as XV1deos doesn't do that the good people connected to GH can't really do much. So it seems we're at the mercy of the owners of XV1deos...

Sorry for the late answer. As stated by Asymptotic, the tech issue with embedding comes from the porn tube site, not from GH.

The bad news is that all we can do is wait and hope they do something...
The good news is that this glitch already happened in the past and has already been fixed.

There seems to be some problems with XV1de0s on GH again...

We get the ordinary XV1de0s's square in the post, but we only get a white field and the text "LOADING" in the middle. There doesn't seems to be any problems with the XV1ds site (I've just been there & watched & downloaded a few things), so the problem must be in the GH / XV1ds connection...

Well, no not by me - the XV1de0s rectangle still is just white with the text "Loading" in the middle. Nothing more than that happens :worried:

Do you see a still from the video before you try clicking to play it, or do you only ever see a 'Loading' message when you first load the forum page ?

Btw, which browser are you using, and have you tried a different browser ?

I haven't seen any still from the vid before clicking to play - nothing but a white screen+ "Loading" today.

I'm using Firefox & I haven't tried other browsers yet - but I'll do that in a minute!

I've just tried Chrome which works totally hunky-dory, so the problem seems to be Firefox-related, not GH-related.

Yes, the code seems to work totally OK!!!

So to my mind (I'm not much of a tech wiz X_X ) this means that the problem has to do with GH when using Firefox...

Well, my troubleshooting would have revolved around reviewing network activity, but that wouldn't seem to be a productive avenue of enquiry if Chrome can access what Firefox can't - I would suggest totally un-installing Firefox, and then performing a fresh install
(if possible, try to live without whatever 'customisations/bookmarks' have been set up since you last installed it, as the 'bug' could lie within them, and restoring the settings in a fresh install might perpetuate the 'bug').

Forget Firefox, when it comes to GH. Embedded Vids aren't supported. No matter, if you make a new install or not. I'm using Chrome for GH.
