Tech problems with streaming videos from Xv1deos

Forget Firefox, when it comes to GH. Embedded Vids aren't supported. No matter, if you make a new install or not. I'm using Chrome for GH.

Well I just saw that XV1ds streams again, working perfect, though I'm using Firefox...

What to say? Maybe: the ways of our Lord are mysterious...enigmatic...:rofl:

Now I'm back to the situation when XV1ds are totally white with the text "Loading" in the middle - but nothing loads...

I give up: the powers that be doesn't want me to understand...I'll have to use Chrome as standard when I'm on GH...

I was also able to view the embedded videos in Firefox when I tried it, which made me think it was something unique to your set up - an alternative to doing a fresh install of Firefox is to disable/remove any extensions/add-ons which were recently installed and then try again.

I think the simplest solution for myself is: Skip Firefox when surfing GH, use Chrome. But thanks again Asymptotic for caring about my problems :big hug:

I'm having this problem, too - using Firefox v.58.0.2 on macOS 10.13.3

I read the suggestion about using Chrome instead, but I REALLY don't like having Google track me everywhere, especially here! X_X and, I don't think there's an app or tool in Chrome that can download vids...or is there??? :thinking:
