I lost the love of my life nearly 3 years ago after being together for 27 years. We met in 1983 when I was 21 and he was 19 and had a civil partnership in 2006. Imagine if you can waking up one morning and reaching out to him in bed and he wasn't there. I wasn't alarmed I just thought he had got up before me, so I went downstairs and and at first I thought he was asleep on the rug in front of the fire which he sometimes did if I had been snoring in the night, but he was dead. He died suddenly and without warning due to a narrowing of the arteries in the heart. I miss him so much
