Feel free to add unconventional theories to this thread. I will be adding others as they come up.
Some theories about the history of mankind's existence on earth and the possible existence of life elsewhere in our solar system and beyond are not only entertaining they challenge the rigid dogma of the established official 'theories'. They are ridiculed the same as the theory earth is round and the earth is not the center of the universe but orbits the sun. Science should be less dogmatic.
A lot of these unconventional theories are flawed but there are some that should be investigated with an open mind.
Today I saw an interesting photo from the Mars Curiosity rover. In it's tenth year of exploration and still going it continues to look for clues to the history of Mars. This photo shows a symbol etched into a rock on Mars. It is an Irish Cross inside of a perfect circle. It is identical to Irish Crosses found on earth. It raises some very interesting questions. It also fuels my imagination and I want to know more.
I know there will be some who scoff at any speculation that this find is anything other than a natural occurrence. It's good to have doubt but it's also good to be willing to consider possibilities.
