In a car accident in Sweden Saturday five Britons deceased, the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. It is according to the BBC to the members of the British indie band Viola Beach and their manager.
The five Britons reason Saturday night with their car on the E4 highway in the Swedish city of Södertälje, near Stockholm, when she collapsed from a bridge. They were 25 meters down into a canal. Reuters news agency reports based on Swedish media that the bridge ships had passed and was not completely closed. The passengers were between 19 and 35 years old.
On the bridge stood barriers, flashing lights and warning signs. According to the investigating officer, other motorists have to wait behind the barrier case. "For some reason, the car drove through the barriers and plunged down," said Officer Martin Bergholm against the BBC. An eyewitness confirmed that story.
Voila Beach was in Sweden for a gig at a festival in Nörrping. The emerging band announced in early February still said to occur at the BBC and SXSW festival in Texas.
