In my case it would definitely be because I've been drinking too much. And when I have too much alcohol in my blood, Alex can get blisters trying to revive it... it won't work until a good amount of alcohol have been evaporated. Oh and if I do manage to get an erection, I can't so we're fucked either ways LOL.:rofl:

jaketoronto2004 already said drinking; sometimes recreational drugs do that, too. bigsal already said stress and anxiety. That could also include performance anxiety.

It could also be caused by high cholesterol or low testosterone. (Found out some time back that those contributed to some problems I had in that department.) I honestly believe that sometimes it can be The Universe (or if you choose, the Spirit which you follow - or intuition or subconscious) telling us we shouldn't be with a particular person.

Depression, and the drugs they give you for depression can really mess with your hard on.

It's a bad idea, I've read, to always wank using exavtly the same technique, or to always do sex the same way. That results in the mind associating that particular stimulus alone with the pleasure of sex, and not being able to respond to other kinds of stimulation, or only with difficulty.

Although this was just someone's theory, and I can't even recall the source, it sounds believable to me, and I certainly have noticed that some guys are terribly specific about what they have to do to achieve orgasm. I have to hold their dick a certain way.... I have to suck like THIS and not like THAT... we all have our preferred ways of getting off, but some of them seem to have made it into such a routine that it takes all the spontaneity out of it.
