I'm a manager for a Fortune 500 company, and I go to school full-time which divided up between online and traditional classes.

My life is pretty real at all times, sometimes it's surreal. ;)

Professionally, I do several things to keep the bills paid and the retirement account topped up: I facilitate and enable staff training in customer relations strategies for a telecom outfit; I record and mix live music for local and regional musicians in various genres - that's both a passion and a paying gig; and I give back into the community with free counselling service to males in conflict with the law.

In the present I'm just ...a worker :) a ..I don't know the exact english therm but I work with zinc sheets..making those air conditioning and air suction tubes that you see in small and big buildings ...round ones and squared ones as well...In the past I was a gestion accountant first for a energy drink importer, for a restaurant and the last job as a "gestionaire" was for a company which had its headquarters in New York :) I also did some translations from English to my mother language ...translated some operation and maintenance books of some excavators that were bought from abroad and needed the translations so they can be approved to work.On small term no contract jobs...I did 1 month as a Radio reporter, a few weeks as a Hotel receptionist and a few days as a promoter for some drinks :)

that's what I do in the present:) thos tubes there...even the curves...but we do squared ones too

Up 'till last July I was a , err, software engineer. No formal training. The job just developed with me in it. I was already working for the company as they transitioned from analogue technology to digital. A small handful of us just inherited the transition. We hired a computer contractor and installed a huge-azz network built around Sun and Solaris. I had to learn UNIX and get my hands very dirty tweaking the software for our operation. The network had a million remote sites and I was always on the road checking them out.

Now I'm completely out of all that and do amateur real estate investing, equities trading, and of late I'm experimenting with commodities trading. Self taught in investing, no formal training. I spend all day online researching either commercial property, or stocks or commodities. Spend huge amounts of time just reading blogs pertaining to finance/investing/the economy/news, in order to get a good feel for whats going on out in the world.

I'm a big fan of the US stock market and believe its one of the best avenues to wealth for the ordinary person who wants to put in the research.

I am working as a volunteer, teaching non Dutch speakers the Dutch language, so that is not a paid job, I name this job first because it makes me feel best.

In real life I do real things.

Sorry, couldn't resist being cheeky there. Smart-ass is one of my alter egos. Actually I am a communicator, writer and trainer.

Was studying computer programming (i.e .Net Framework, C++, ect ect)
right up until I had a severe kidney infection which nearly caused complete renal failure.

Now I'm under a specialist who believes I have ME.

My life is great :D lol!

Anyone fancy coming nursing me back to health? ^.^
