This is just beautiful and the magic of the conductor Carlos Kleiber transports Beethoven's music so well

And used to great effect on Tarsem's stunning movie "The Fall"

Robert Schumann "Spring-Symphony" 2nd movement

Robert Schumann caught really all possible moods of spring in his 1st symphony and so in the 2nd movement. This is so lyrical and melodic and all this conducted by Lenny Bernstein, one of the best ever Schumann conductors

Enjoy :)

Anton Bruckner: Symphony No.7 Adagio

This is maybe the most popular piece of Anton Bruckner.
He finished composing when he heard about the death of Richard Wagner and he dedicated the brass at the end to his always worshipped idol

I know the piece seems long to many of you but it offers so many beautiful melodic lines and the conductor here, Eugen Jochum was one of the most famous Bruckner conductors ever

Enjoy

Strauss - Perpetuum mobile

And here is the perfect contrast to the Bruckner :)

Herbert von Karajan conducting the Vienna Philharmonic in a funny fast Polka of one of the big Strauss clan :)

Enjoy
