The full title of the song is "Bob Lind (The Only Way Is Down)".
A few people have asked what this song has to do with Bob Lind. Apprently Pulp had trouble deciding what to call the song, and settled on the title at the last minute. Jarvis Cocker and the boys are big Lind fans. The interesting thing is that apparently Bob Lind himself really likes the song, which is not too different in style from some of Lind's early songs.

A rarity - a video of Bob Lind singing a song he didn't write himself.
It's a very interesting cover, quite different from most covers of this well-known song.

well first of all shes my all time favourite. Shes talented, looks gorgeous, can sing live! (sadly its gettin rare nowadays) and her lyrics have meanings. I mean actual meanings and not the "uhh baby baby.." or similar stuffs... I love this song cuz its kinda playful, not that slow. And ofc i love the lyrics cuz i feel that way too "I dont know what you've been playing, i dont know why ive been staying, i got me some better things to do..." :D:D

PS: sorry bout my english sadly its not the best yet XD

R.Wagner Parsifal Ouverture - James Levine



Guys, tomorrow on Saturday 12th the Wagner Festival in Bayreuth makes a Live TV broadcast of Wagner's last opera "Parsifal" and they will show the complete piece with over 5 hours of incredible Wagner sound.

I want to share the Prelude here - don't be scared, it's NOT 5 hours long:rofl:

James Levine conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra here in one of the best performances of this opera in the last 20 years.

I hope the performance will at least be as halfway marvellous as Levine's:D
