I used to listen to this song constantly in middle school during that period where you start having crushes on guys in your class yet don't really understand homosexuality/yourself. And she was just singing exactly how I felt and I remember how sad this song made me feel. Just listening to it brings me back to those days.

Yes, I have... I adore the entire album; I'm so proud of Katy. She's getting so much acclaim with this CD and she deserves each and every positive comment out there.

Here's the funniest thing: I'll also be the biggest Britney fan for life, but I absolutely LOATHE that song! For some reason, it really annoys me. Yes, we've all been there; crushing on a guy and wondering if he likes us back, but there's just something about that song that annoys the holy Hell out of me! ~X( But in truth, I didn't like a lot of the earlier songs she penned herself other than the B-side track, "I'm So Curious". That one was a cute song.

At the current moment, Madonna is playing... the live version of "Keep It Together" from her Blonde Ambition tour; one of my all-time favorite performances. I love the speech she recites about family and friends at the end of it; there is something very sweet and touching about it.

This song reminds me of the end of her doentary film, "Truth or Dare". It's the last performance during that tour and when they show it in the movie, it coincides with the last day of the actual "Blonde Ambition" tour... her back-up dancers and singers are hugging each other good-bye; some are crying... and there's this one moment that always hits me....

One back-up dancer is sitting in the corner; just lost in his thoughts... his name is Oliver... she walks behind him and puts her arms around him...

Madonna: "What are you thinking about?"
Oliver: (after a moment) "You."

Something about that moment always touches me... very sweet. :heart:

I can't believe you hate it. I think it's the sweetest song ever. I've been listening to a lot of Britney lately, I'm really into "Born to Make You Happy" right now. :]

Ever since I heard this version of the song I've fallen in love with it. The cast of glee and the producers really hit it out of the park with this one. It's easily my favorite glee song and perhaps the best glee song. Their voices go so well together and Oh my GOD, Lea Michele's voice is just so beautiful. What I wouldn't give to have her voice.

It's such a sweet song.
