Without any doubt, my favorite pop album from last year would be "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry. Every song on there is pure perfection: fun, sweet, danceable and altogether awesome! It's no wonder that all of the singles released from that album ("California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "Firework" and "E.T.") have all reached number one on the Billboard chart... not to mention the album itself! :thumbs up:

This was already one of my all-time favorites from the album when it was released; I played it over and over again... I love the almost 80's pop feel of it (with the saxophone interlude included!); it immediately caught my ear and I begged for it to be a single... so imagine my pure happiness when I found out she would release it as the fifth (!) single from the album.

Originally intended to be released today, the short form version of the video leaked over the weekend, which made Katy release the full 8-minute version of the video this past Sunday... and it was EVERYTHING I thought it was going to be and more! Katy, or I should say, Kathy Beth (you'll see what I mean in the video) has one hell of a Friday night herself and to quote a special cameo at the intro of the epicness, it's the "Best Party Ever! WHOO!" LOL

Speaking of cameos... you will not believe who pops up in this video. Keep an eye out for some "Glee"-ful faces, five musical stars from the days of yesteryear (three of them are in a group that are still making music to this day), an actor who was never really as "lost" of a "boy" as we intended and the queen of "Friday" herself, Miss Rebecca Black!

This is DEFINITELY a video and song to take hold of; you will not forget it!
