I was introduced to this singer a couple of years ago. I liked her very different style, but didn't pay much attention to her until recently...
... and my sweet Lawd, she is amazing. :heart:
I have listened to this song so much and it still resonates just as strongly as it did the first time.
She performed this live earlier this year on the Grammys to a standing ovation and it was clearly deserved. The simpleness of this video against the strength of the words is something that is just unbelievably beautiful to me. There's a line in this song that truly touches me, especially with the tears she sheds. Amazing artist... I truly hope there is much success in her future.
