Finally got my flu shot today.
Usually I get it early in November, but they ran out of vaccine and I had to wait.

That's great!!! I'm so happy to have a superb specialist diabetes nurse (I'm a type 2 diabetic since eight years) who looks out for me and makes sure I get my flu shot as soon as possible. So I got my shot early November! :thumbs up:

Had my first flu jab, they lowered the age limit for the free one. Not sure if I should be happy I had one or sad I'm in 'that' age range now.

Here in the states, they have a special (stronger) flu shot for senior citizens.
I got that one in October.

The Smell of Spring

Such a beautiful sunny day! The sky is blue and clear, the birds are chirping and I'm getting my vitamin D while sitting (and drinking coffee!) in front of the house...

In Slovenia it's almost spring when it's + 21C, in Karlstad, Sweden, we'll have to make do with + 2 C - so the difference between spring here and there seems to be just about 20 degrees Celsius...;)

I got a call from my doctor in the morning. "You'll be vaccinated tomorrow," she told me. :) A ray of hope...

I'll be getting my first shot on Thursday. Not from my doctor, but from a "massvax" site that does lots of shots. It's a real relief.

I only spent 3hrs in my local hospital's Accident & Emergency department this morning! (The last 2 visits were both over 6 hours). So after being wired up to various monitors checking my pulse and heart rhythm; blood pressure; blood sugar; lung capacity; oxygen levels; blood tests and a chest X-ray it turns out my heartrate problem this time was due to a mild virus and not a cardiovascular problem YAY!! they discharged me and let me come home :):) and of course here in the UK we get it all for free - thank you NHS :thumbs up::thumbs up:

.... Oh, and the skinny young porter who moved me to and from the X-ray department had a cute arse, not sure about the face of course - curse this damn mask wearing!!

Glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious:thumbs up:

A nice arse is something good to look at even if the face is covered, you can always put the face you fancy with the cute arse:p

Anthony Hopkins makes history!

Sir Anthony Hopkins has won his fourth acting Bafta! :)

I have seen Minari & Nomadland, but personally I think The Father deserves Oscar more than anyone. The movie is an acting lesson from the master, Anthony Hopkins.

On April 25, 2021 Sir Anthony Hopkins will become the oldest Oscar-winning actor of all time. Mark my words! ;)

Haircut Haircut Haircut!!!!!!

Yes I got a bloody haircut:):), the first one since early December so the lion's mane has had a No.4 all over!!! I didn't even try on Monday when the UK hairdressers opened up again as I knew the queues would be terrible but just after lunchtime today it was manageable with only a 40minute wait, but sitting outside the salon in the warm(ish) spring sunshine was fine.:thumbs up::thumbs up:
