Four days without power??!! I can't and I don't want to imagine that! It must be horrible - like back in the old (candle-) times!
And when the power came back it must have been like a rebirth for you! So now be happy back in the modern time.
Thank you!! It was certainly rough... Luckily, I have a couple of solar powered lamps and a power inverter to charge small electronics in the car. So, I could do some things, but I sure don't want to do that again. LOL

Be happy my friend that this is now an episode of the past - and let's pray that in the near and far future it will never happen again!🙏

Same here. It's very sunny since a few days, almost 30°C and it feels so good because it was raining all spring. Unfortunately, it won't last, the rain will be back next week. I'm not okay with this, it's May, it's Time for heat and sunshine, i need to rise my bike in the forest.

I am happy we had fine weather here (except of some time with a bit of rain).

But there are regions in Germany with too much rain and very strong damages! I wish the guys and girls there a lot of luck, that they won't have too many damages and no one who will be injured seriously!

Damages on things are bad, but can be harmed, loss of people not. So I wish you much strongness to come over this difficult time! 👍

The pair of breeding swans on the section of river close to where I live usually have 6 cygnets, once they had 8. They have suppassed themselves this season...

This pair seem to be good parents and usually most of their young make it to adulthood (I think they lost one last season, either taken by a cat when still very young but even when they have grown a bit they are not safe from foxes). They were very close to the river bank when I went over the bridge but when I got the 'phone out to get the photos Mum and Dad got very protective and started hissing at me to keep away before one parent led the brood back into the middle of the river as the other parent stayed on the bank between me and them.

I saw the swans a couple of days back but as the cygnets were amongst the reeds I couldn't do an accurate count but this morning I saw them again with a clearer view. It took a few minutes to count them as they kept swimming around Mum (or Dad) but then they stayed still enough long enough for me to see that all 10 still going strong and they are quite a big bigger now.

And again a happy evening! 2 : 0 against Hungary. Sunday now the last step against Suisse. We've watched too Suisse : Scotland and I must say that Suisse will be a hard opponent. Nonetheless we are in good hope that we will overcome this hurdle as well. Finger crossed!

And far more importantly overnight England beat the West Indies in the Super 8 section on the T20 World Cup. Another win against Sth Africa on Friday and we should make the semi-finals :)

Let's make a deal --- I'll cross my fingers for your team in the T20 World Cup and you should do it on Sunday for our team in the EC. Deal? ;)
