Got fired from my old job waiting tables today. Told a nagging customer he was spoiled (he didn't pay for the meal, it was given to him and yet, anytime I was near him he felt the need to fuss at me for doing things wrong). It was a job I really dreaded going into and I just started a new job a few days ago. Went back home, got some cleanup and laundry done, smoked a bowl then bbq'd chicken breasts, hamburgers and hot dogs over charcoal for tonight's family dinner.
On that note, I need to start doing seafood on a regular basis. I'm training to be a fishmonger so I need to get familiar with different types of fish and what works best for cooking them.
Pretty much for any food land or sea, however, seasoned a little and coated in a good sauce (it's to keep the stuff moist while suspended over coals) is enough for pretty much anything to come out good and you were outside and thus didn't messy your kitchen in the process.
Addendum: As far as I can tell, lemon and cilantro in liberal quantity is the perfect way to go with any fish.
