sry I noticed this so late.....I know her...any translation function?

Who makes you sad...? Felix Brych!

Hey Felix, that's a 100% penalty. Aleksandar Mitrović was wrestled to the ground by two defenders .

VAR!!! Nothing has really changed, decisions continue to be overlooked. I thought the point of VAR was to ensure big decisions didn't go unoticed. :(

I've never believed in the Technological Quick Fix-solutions anyway, so: sad for the footballer getting hit by a half-blind umpire, but really not a big surprise. Humans still make the decisions, humans are as fallible as ever. And thus it will be until Kingdom come...

At the very first: Hello Gorgik my deep and honest congratulation for the top match of the Swedish Team. Last time I've asked you, if you have survived the match against Germany - now I must say that I'm nearly killed by this German Team.

Sorry have I really written the word "TEAM"? I have only seen 11 players where each played for itself. There was no TEAM. It really was more than terrifying what happened there in Kazan. That was fright-soccer (Angstfussball!). All these great names --- pure nulls. There was nothing what I have known from a German Team. There was no will!

I think now there must be a hard cut. A new coach and most of all a building-up of a totally new team. What happened there in Kazan was in my opinion criminal refusal to work!

My flag is at half mast. Here is national mourning!

My BF (he is not so much a soccer fan! Grrrrr) wants me to go out this evening. No - I'm in my room - and I want to be alone. I don't want to go out. There is no reason for.

I'm very, very, very unhappy. And yes I've cried! Woe betide anyone who is laughing!!!!

Well as you know I'm not a football fan but I heard the news about the match on the BBC with all the sports reporters saying what a shock it was.

I feel for any true fan of any sport when their heroes fail to deliver...….and as a fan of the English Cricket team I know only too well from many similar experiences how devastating it can be :big hug: I suppose it's easier for an English Cricket fan though.... because it happens a lot more often and we have to get used to it !

Ah, tomorrow I'll go to Berlin; we'll have a Weissbier (or two, or three...) and watch some favourite gay porn - you'll see everything will get - as a good old song says - a whiter shade of pale...

To be a bit more serious: I didn't really believe that Sweden would quash Mexico with 3-0 - that's pretty spectacular, I mean Mexico won over Germany...

I think it a pity that Germany lost & I think it would have made a more interesting tournament if Germany had made it to the next rounds.

And there'll be another World Championship in 4 years. I'm pretty sure team Germany will be there. :big hug:

Thank you Slimjim, thank you Gorgik for your kind words.
Perhaps they will help tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or .........
But at the very moment I'm totally down and my brain until now will not accept what I've seen this afternoon.

Gosh why I don't like tennis or softball or whatever - why my heart is beating for soccer???? And then these assholes - every village team would have played better! Have I really written "played"?

When I started to watch the match I for real thought it was in slow motion, then I realized it was live footage. :D

:thumbs up::thumbs up::thumbs up:
But nevertheless I can't laugh in the moment. Listless, indolent, self-regarding footballer without any will and ambition. Very, very overpaid and very, very overestimated "Stars" (which means translated in this case "Assholes"). Let's kick them into the Orcus!

Day 3 now without a phoneline. I'm not sure if the repair crews work over the weekend - if not could be Tuesday afternoon before I get sorted... currently trying to survive on a connection speed of between 0.05 and 0.3 Mbps. Half the sites I try to get to won't open at all. It's taken me over 10 mins to get here and post this..... ~X(~X(~X(

i miss my father, passsed away just one year ago

Hey Manolitorr that is the most wonderful thing I've read in a long time. These simple few words show that you have had a deep liaison with your father. And that is a great thing! You will never forget him and sure he will always be with you. Believe me - if you will need his help - he will be there!

Though not in the same league (or anywhere close) as the loss of a loved one but my useless ISP has still not managed to sort out my dead phone line or broadband speeds of up to a massive 0.25 Mbps it's over a week now……it will come as no surprise that I shall be leaving them at the earliest opportunity
