A slew of stars (Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Willem Dafoe...) are stranded suspects in Murder on the Orient Express, the buzzy big-screen adaptation of Agatha Christie's best-selling 1934 novel.
Nearly a million people have flocked to cinemas across Poland in the last three days to see a movie that depicts Catholic priests in a highly unflattering light, breaking box-office records, its distributor said on Monday.
“Kler” (“Clergy”) is a dark drama, with moments of bleak comedy, about three fictional Catholic priests who swill vodka and mock the church.
The film has fuelled debate about the church’s influence in one of Europe’s most devout nations.
“Kler” will be released in cinemas in several European countries, including the UK, in mid-October. Interest in the film has been particularly keen in the Netherlands.
I will definitely go to the movies to see the much talked about film :waiting:
One of the saddest story Hollywood has ever told...
Could Judy land Renée Zellweger her first Best Actress Oscar? In my opinion, the answer is YES!!! The Oscars love a story and Zellweger's would be a great one. :thumbs up:
