I meant to do a full spread of cooking the meal as I usual do but I got busy and forgot. I almost forgot completely but thought of it at the last minute. So I took a pic of the center cut ham w/ cherry/orange glaze, squash casserole, roasted sweet potatoes & buttermilk biscuits after we served our plates then a pic of my almost finished plate. Then one of the Lemon Cream Cheese Pound Cake and then my slice as I sat down to watch A Crime To Remember and my empty plate after eating said cake, lol.

Chili-cheese dogs...

Since I very rarely eat these, this is the first time in two years, and I work in a butcher shop, I used fresh hand made 1/4 lbs. franks, and fresh French brioche buns with Amish cheddar. Instead of covering the franks, I simmered them in chili so they could absorb the flavor...

This will be our meals for the next two days, now that my hubby is working 42 hour weeks and has two days off in a row. I just finished cooking and baking, he will get home around 730 am and is all mine until Sunday night at 11pm. I always now have all meals cooked ahead of time so we waist no time preparing meals while he is home.
I have also got a cake I found at a German bakery that is to die for, it's called a Black Forest hwarzwälder kirschtorte. This cake is as close to an orgasm as you can get. We find it almost impossible to stop eating. I am glad it is so expensive (over 50 bucks) because otherwise I would get really fat. I must say Germans make fine desserts.

Mungboon feed with salad and toasted bread

Mung beans with green leafy veggies and smoked fish is standard Friday fare
for me. You can also get them here split and skinless which is what I use for
mooncake filling.

I am going to give this a try. I hope I can find these beans in a local grocery store.
