Killing of a Sacred Deer

As I am still suffering some fatigue and insomnia problems I have recently have been re-watching "pop-corn" movies such as the IronMan and Hellboy series that don't require much concentration. But yesterday I spotted that The Killing Of A Sacred Deer was now on a streaming service I have access too and I thought I would give it another go. Now I absolutely loved The Lobster, also directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and starring Colin Farrell but I'm afraid once again I failed to get into this. The cinematography is really good but the the clipped dialogue and ohh so slow plot made me go for the off button after about 40 mins - which is about where I hit eject the last time I tried to watch it.

Time to switch back to the "pop-corn"
