The Curse of the Cat People (1944) - There were no Cat People, no cats of any kind, not even a meow. Complete waste of time.

An oldie but goodie. Matthew Broderick & Christopher Walken star, Mike Nichols directs, and a great script from Neil Simon :thumbs up:

Jeez I had forgotten just how fecking near perfect his great movie is! Sam Mendes directs Tom Hanks, Paul Newman (in his last film) who are both superb. Cast also includes Danny Craig; Jude Law; Stanley Tucci & Ciaran Hinds. Beautifully filmed with a gorgeous atmospheric Thomas Newman score, as the attached clip demonstrates

Weekend movie marathon

Summer of 84 (2018)

This is a nice flick about a group of friends that suspects a neighbor of being a serial killer...Even serial killers live next door to somebody. Tough pill to swallow, I know, but it's true. :nail biting:

Togo (2019)

Very nice to see the real story behind the Great Race of Mercy and give credits to the real heroic dog: Togo. If you are a dog lover this is a must-see film! :)

The Last Shift (2020)

It is a great independent film. The story is compelling, the script well-written and Richard Jenkins proves why he is one of the best actors out there. :thumbs up:

"The Marksman". Lazy movie-making. Liam Neeson was good, but otherwise . . .
