Saltburn. I know I'm really late, but I finally got around to watching it and did not expect that twist at the end. Very good movie, but I've had the song Murder On The Dancefloor stuck in my head ever since.

Late but never too late. This film you can watch today and as well long in the future.

This is a Russo brothers movie and has Chris Pratt; Ke Huy Quan; Stanley Tucci on the cast list as well as voice work from Woody Harrelson and apparently it cost $320million. It was OK, it looks great and you can see where the $$$ went, it's entertaining but forgettable - but with that cast and cost it should have been a better 2hr 8min.

About the writer Hunter S Thompson, famous for being a user of every drug known to mankind. It's a one joke movie, if you like that one joke then good but I lost interest half way through which I normaly never do. I suppose you need to be stoned to enjoy this, sadly I was sober.

It was too trippy for me; I stopped after the first 20 minutes. One day I will try to watch the entire movie.

THE GREAT WALL (2016)

This popped up on the All4 free streaming service in the UK. Initially I wasn't going to watch - then I saw it was directed by Yimou Zhang, who directed the excellent SHADOW; HOUSE OF FLYING TIGERS and the truely magnificent HERO. Matt Damon and Willaim Defoe are the "western" stars but they both look out of place. It looks great with some well filmed action sequences which is just as well as the dialogue is pretty corny, and it has an odd plot premise - when I walked a section of the wall a few years back none of the guides mentioned anything about it being built to protect against attacks from alien monsters from outer space!

The trailer shows that Pedro Pascal is also in the movie. How was he? Does he have a big role?

WALKING TALL (2004)

A former U.S. soldier returns to his hometown to find it overrun by crime and corruption, which prompts him to clean house. Imdb

Feeling tired so wanted something short and not too brain taxing and this was 1hr 26min, stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the "goodie" and Neal Donaugh as the "baddie" I would like to say it was dumb but fun....sadly just dumb.

This early Jason Statham punchy; slappy; stabby; kicky; headbutty; shooty movie is (like yesterdays Walking Tall) on the Rakut3n streamer. Mainly dumb but fun (well it is a Jason Statham movie!)

CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD (2025)

I nearly turned off at around 15mins... I did turn off at 55mins. There's only so much flying around then fighty punchy slappy followed by flying around and fighty punchy slappy I can take. Dodgy plot; dodgy dialogue. Apparently it makes more sense if you have watched "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier" tv series but I couldn't get interested in that either.

There is an enormous plot spoiler in the trailer, from after I switched off, and it means the plot was even dumber than I thought.

Too recent for me, and so long. And not just is too long but feels too long. I suppose it must be as worthy as everyone says it is but I was worn out by the end and unable to appreciate all that excellence.

Firstly, I wanna let you to know that I really liked this movie.
It was nice to see Demi Moore on screen again, but not like this. I felt sick throughout most of the movie.
It reminded me of Weird Science, Weekend at Bernie's, The Fly, Elephant Man, The Shining, Carrie, Deadpool,
and The Thing. You're either going to love it or hate it.

This Luc Besson/Guy Ritchie caper movie starring Jason Statham and Ray Liotta is a mess. Yes it's stylish and violent but the plot is confusing and for some reason Richie seems to want to overlayer it with philosophical BS

LIKE MINDS (a.k.a. MURDEROUS INTENT) (2006)... no trailer, too many plot spoilers

Delving deeply into Alex and Nigel's bizarre symbiotic pact, Rowe discovers that though dead, Nigel's psychological effect on Alex is far from diminished.

An engrossing and compelling psychological thriller with tremendous performances from the two young leads - Eddie Redmayne as the troubled Alex and Tom Sturridge as the disturbing/creepy Nigel. Although towards the end the tension was loosened the taught direction kept me gripped for the mostpart.

I should have followed my instincts and hit the off button at around 20mins... I stuck with it until around 40mins and that was enough. Supposedly a laugh-out-loud comedy - I thought it was boring.

I hadn't heard about this until it popped up on a share site so I checked the imdb and saw that this Stephen Soderbergh directed spy-thriller stars Michael Fassbender; Cate Blanchard; Tom Burke & Pierce Brosnan. It starts off very dialogue heavy but soon settles doen into a taught game of cat-and-mouse. I enjoyed it.

Becoming Led Zeppelin 2026
You dont need to be a fan of heavy rock to enjoy this doc about four talented lads whose group became bigger than God during the nineteen seventies.
Amazing that three out of the four are still alive after that time of greater overindulgence than had ever been seen before.
John Bonham, RIP, will never be surpassed as the greatest rock drummer, to play any better is not humanly possible.
