Currently watching 'Queer As Folk (US)' on DVD. Season 1
Am watching it again after a gap of 5 years.........and I still fuckin :heart:LOVE:heart: it!! :thumbs up:

There is a difference between so-called 'Reality' TV shows and regular, scripted TV shows. We watch many 'Reality' shows including Survivor, The Amazing Race, Big Brother, Axe Men and others such as Hell's Kitchen, Face Off and America's Got Talent...

Our usual TV dramas include The Mentalist, Elementary, The Walking Dead and American Horror Story.

"The Americans" is one of the best shows in years along with "Bates Motel" and "Hannibal". These 3 represent the cream of the crop of newer American TV shows IMHO.

I'm sure I've forgotten to mention some of our favorites so I may have to come back and add them later, hehe.

I've just discovered Game of Thrones. I've been watching the box set since Xmas and nearing the end of season 3. Am looking forward to the premiere of Season 4, on Sky Atlantic, at the start of April. It's nothing more than high brow soap opera, but the production values are strong and the cinematography is impressive. The dialogue is rich and some of the characters are despicable. Add a sprinkling of nudity and lots of violence and you have, in my mind, the perfect combination.

Just saw Hannibal last night. Not sure where the series is going now with Graham behind bars, but eager to see. It's kind of a slow burn.

I've just finished watching the first season of Rectify, a show where a guy who allegedly raped and killed his girlfriend when he was 18 gets released from death row after some new DNA evidence raises doubts about his guilt.
The show has been criticized for it's relatively slow pace, but I really liked some of the moments they created on the level of relationships between the characters. I'm looking forward to watch season two and would definitely recommend watching it.

Has anyone watched Masters of Sex? A colleague recommended it, might be the next show I will watch...
