I enjoy British crime dramas. I can't say too much how much I enjoyed this series. The most extraordinary story ever, written & produced by Chris Chipnall, one of the top British writers today. A brilliant cast, featuring the cream of British actors. The best drama of the year, keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire film.

U.K. giant ITV drew strong ratings for the second-season debut of crime drama Broadchurch Monday night (5th January). It attracted an average of 7.6 million viewers in the overnight ratings. ITV, also the home of Downton Abbey, said at the time that this was the highest weekday launch audience for a new drama in the U.K. since ITV’s Whitechapel in January 2009.

from the first, having watched a few of the British series which preceded it and which it is based on. Amazing to me how the writers create a despicable character like
Frank Gallagher, and still make you like him.

i was so bored the other day that i decided to start to watch shameless.. since there are 2 version of it, i choose to watch the us version first (since usually the uk version is much better from my previous viewing of being human , inbetweener and so on) but this show really blew my mind and currently im emotionally invested on it up to the point that i don't feel like watching the uk version..but maybe someday coz from what i heard, they have a totally different direction going with their uk counterpart.

Oh my God - SHAMELESS is one of the best series I've ever seen. I've seen seasons 1 - 4 and now I'm longing for season 5, but don't know when it is starting here in Germany.
