Where is YOYO

Im back. Sorry I never posted any pics while I was up there. Just totally turned off from relatiy up there.

This was my view from my window

Here are a load of pics when I was up at the Lake Distrcit the other week

This is the place we stayed at



This was the first evenings sun set



Went to Hawkshead the next day to look around. This small town is only around 1 mile north of where we were stayiong and ate in this town every eveneing

Next day went to Windermere Boat thing



Which has loads of old boats.



With some all restored and working



Steam powered

Next day went on a boat the whole length of Lake Windermere



This was the boat we got on

Went for walk around on the boat







This is the cable car ferry across the lake



Reached the other end



Now on the way back



Back where we started



The eveneings view before it got dark. There is absolutely no light polution up here

Next day went here which I think it called "Hill Top House". the house of Beatrix Potter

A lot of the characters from her books

Next day went to Keswick and it was Market day



Had a bit to eat in here

Back in Hawkshead and are here in the evening

Next day drove around Lake Coniston



Then drove over to Lakeside which is the top of Lake Windermere where there is a stram train



All aboard



One of the station stops



The train takes you to lakeside where the boad ended a few days abo



Went into the Cafe there



and watched all the boats coming and going





One of the steam engins



Back where we started and went into the Cafe to have some ice cream





Then drove to where the car ferry crosses and caught that to the other side





Back in Hawkshead for supper and saw this on top of a Letter Box

LOL Nope not professional photographer, or work in the tourist trade. Im an IT Techy Dude!
Sorry for not porting on the day when I did things, Just totally switched off from posting anything while away this time
I think I killed the building Internet connection as after a few days it stopped working. Maybe I ran it out of data! Oh well. Mobile worked a treat up there on 5G! of all places!

I had never been to the Lake District before. Its just so green up there and we were so lucky with the weather
