In addition to the practical reasons given here by others for wearing undies - nut support, keeping genitals in a comfortable position (can we PLEASE stop calling it "junk"?), preventing dick getting caught in the zipper and so forth, I have a fetish for what I consider sexy underwear, and just putting some of my undies on gives me a hardon.

Incidentally, I cannot imagine wering my tight jeans without some kind of underwear, though many jeans fetishists do so. The crotch of the jeans is so tight that I need something to keep the dick and nuts centred in position, otherwise they would very likely get squashed as I walk, and at the very least would be uncomfortable.
