Dutch mountains!
There are moments that The Netherlands are not flat at all. When a severe cold period suddenly ends in combination with stormy winds you get at the borders of the lakes what we Dutch call Kruiend IJs (drifting ice).
So these are not pictures of the north pole ore south pole, but all taken near a little Dutch town named Marken.

The fourth picture is particularly beautiful. I saved in my personal archive, and almost certainly will use it as wallpaper dektop.

This is the village of Manarola in Cinque Terre. a few miles from where I live.
If one day you will be here, I'll be happy to make you discover these beautiful places.

I take this opportunity to publish a photo of a neighboring country Zoagli, always in Liguria.

As you can see in the picture, many towns in Liguria, are true "lounges" by the sea.
