Where and how did you meet your last boyfriend or sexual partner?

I am dating someone now...but believe it or not...it was my late partner's mom who introduced me to this guy last year. At the time...although I found him very appealing...I actually had my focus on someone else that was not what they appeared to be. However, what I found appealing about this new guy is that throughout that period...he kept himself relevant in my life even if it was to be to establish a friendship. Nonetheless, since that "other" situation did not pan out...this guy took the initiative to let me know that he was there for me ....and we are dating and I am taking things slow and he is okay with that...just one day at a time..but I am really enjoying his company.

I found my BF in the gym ten years ago. Some weeks ago I've seen him there - this good looking young man. He was 19 and I was 17. But I don't dare to address him. I only looked at him and tried to be nearby him.

And one day we were together in the shower and he clapped on my buttocks and asked me if I would like to have a drink with him. Believe me I was in heaven! I for myself would have been too shy to talk to him. So he has taken the initiavie because he has observed me too. And in the meantime now we are 10 years together in a good relationship. And let me tell you I love my BF with every fiber of my body. And don't think that these last ten years have been only sunshine. We have had many crises - but always we found back the way to our love.

I wish you from deep of the bottom of my heart that you will find your deep love as well and you will see how bright the world can be.

I don't know if this counts, and it does sound rather unbelievable... But two months ago, I was surfing on the "gay side" of reddit, and it just so happens that someone was asking to be penpals. I thought, "why the hell not?", and started talking to him on reddit, and later on over Skype. Before long, both of us realized we had feelings for each other, and well........ I don't know if you'd call it an actual relationship, but we're "more than friends", to say the least.

The only problem is, I'm in Singapore, and he's in the US, both of us couldn't be any further apart. Both of us still have college to go through (which is another two more years) before we can really meet up with each other, so I suppose it'd be a tough one to hold it through. Though if we do manage to survive these two years, it'll be my first physical relationship with someone (which sounds rather pathetic considering that I'm already 23 now :/)
