Funny you mentioned Trystan Bull. I actually think that he's hot but as far as porn is concerned, he's a hit and miss for me.

That's a very good point!
Still, even with the most dim-witted directing and the most formulaic script, there are some guys who realize that their job is to do an activity that's supposed to be arousing. And some just can't do it, whether it's because they're not comfortable having sex with men, or sex on camera, or, what I actually think is the case most often, sex with men on camera.
Watching Leo Giamani, for example, is to me the same as watching a show about architecture or gardening. Yeah, what we see is aesthetically beautiful, but it doesn't give me a stiffy.

The money is better for guys in gay porn than str8, however in str8 porn, men stand to have much longer careers. Fuck, Ron Jeremy is STILL doing porn! Gay porn stars generally have shorter careers than str8 males, but potentially longer than women. I've followed this thread with interest. I don't view gay porn with such intensity to even know the performers by name - presuming they use the same names from vid to vid. For me, any porn actor is boring (as is the vid in which he acts), if he doesn't look like he is really into having sex. Stuffing a semi-limp cock into an unobliging asshole is not a turn on for me. I can get two guys locally for free to just jack each other off and liplock each other if I want to jack off to that action. If I download something or purchase a video specifically, I want it to be hot and provocative, and make me very aroused during the viewing.
