How may I interest you in my favoured movies?
Like to write what made the excitement to me:
Recommend you:
Amadeus by Milos Forman - an amusing composition of crime, history and music - the story of the genius in his relation to his adversary Salieri with incredible actors and perfect music.

and a second one:
Alexander by Oliver Stone - our ancient gay hero and his relationship with Hephaistion as ruler of the world - you couldn' get enough of this rush for the senses.

Amadeus - wonderful.

Alexander - blah. It started badly with an awful Anthony Hopkins voice over monologue whatever. Hopkins so awfully miscast in more movies than I care to remember.

It's really disturbing, but I really liked it. One of those movies that makes you think how fortunate you are.

Y'all need to see Little Ashes. It shows the early life of Salvador Dali and his homo-erotic affections for his university mates, and then continues on as a history lesson regarding the persecution of Franco's Spain and the general condition of Europe in the late 1930's; early '40s.

Dali is played brilliantly by Robert Pattinson (released in 2008 just before the first Twilight film). Javier Beltran plays Frederico Garcia Lorca (famous poet/playwright) and Dali's gay paramour.
