I hope you'll like The Fall as much as I did. :)

@Pan's Labyrinth
That is a fantastic movie indeed. I highly recommend that movie too. :thumbs up:

Luved The Fall ...stunning cinematography, wonderful locations..some of which I have been lucky enough to have been to, a great male /female lead as you mentioned. Try Big Fish.....

I've seen Big Fish but your City of God recommendation made me think how often I stumbled across that movie but never watched it. I think I have to change that soon.

Just about anything with Kevin Kline, but one that has always stuck with me is "Life As A House"...

The trailer really doesn't tell enough...

After loosing his job and being diagnosed with terminal cancer a man (Kevin Kline) takes custody of his estranged teenage son (Hayden Christensen) a Goth, druggie, hustler, and forces him to spend the summer tearing down the old beach front shack left to him by his father and building his dream home in it's place...

Watched "The Emperors Club" recently....Kevin Kline at his best ...also starring a certain Emile Hirsch and Jesse Eisenberg.

"One of the best American films of the year...Sensitively written, meticulously directed (by the excellent Michael Hoffman), gorgeously photographed and beautifully acted, this profound and deeply moving film stars the great Kevin Kline as a dedicated teacher at a distinguished prep school...Much more than just another Dead Poets Society, this is a film of enormous heart, compassion and intelligence that tackles vital issues with wrenching, thought-provoking honesty and cinematic skill. I really love everything it stands for. There will be bigger, noisier and flashier movies this year, but I haven't seen anything that has impressed me more."

The Emperors Club? Yes, I think I've seen just about all of his movies, lol . Even the strange and little known "January Man". I think he's one of the best actors working today, but sorely underrated...

If needed, the entire movie, (Life As A House) has been uploaded to youtube...

The movie I like the most is

The Life of David Gale

Kevin Spacey plays David Gale, a brilliant but hard-drinking anti-death penalty crusader on death row for a rape and murder that he claims he didn't commit. The victim of the crime is Gale's close friend and anti-death penalty colleague Constance (Laura Linney), so Gale argues that he's been set up to discredit the cause. Committed journalist Bitsey Bloom (Kate Winslet) takes it upon herself to figure the whole thing out.

The movie seems to be lengthy sometimes, but almost everything makes sense when it ends (and the end is brilliant, by the way...).

SAVED!
A relatively unknown movie...that does a nice friendly job of kicking fundamentalist Christians in the teeth...while appearing not to. Not a great film, but a good interesting little darkish comedy that has some real depth. A film that challenges fundamentalist Christians to rethink their positions about gays and many other issues they avoid..."why else would God makes us all so different?" A great movie to watch with a religious friend, their response to it, will tell you much about the person. Also, was the return of Macaulay Culkin to comedy on the big screen..
