Personly I'm not a fan of sharingmatrix and isn't this like product marketing aren't we not allowed to advertise like this? Maybe a question for admins
Great... another get-rich-fast hosting company. That's just what we need. Now there's going to be an onslaught of people reposting the same crap over and over again just to make a quick buck.
I wish people would just stick with the tried and true providers like Rapidshare and Hotfile.

The thing that gets me most about SM is the 10 minute enforced wait for D/L. My heart sinks if I see this indicated out of an interesting post. Yeah - an IP bounce and cookie clear will do it - but I don’t like it when companies think I'm stupid. Other hosts have got the balance right already.
Oh, and I sooo agree with the above post about shouting. Uppercase and lots of pretty Fisher Price color schemes are puerile to the enth degree. It's only slightly less stupid than the "You must click thanks to get the links" mentality.

I stick with rapidshare and hotfile. They are tried and true.

Yes have to agree with that sharingmatrix comment. Frankly for free service its absolute crap!
I wasted hours trying to download files virtually all attempts ended with file partially downloaded, corrupt or cutting off halfway. if youre lucky 1 in 10 attempts might succeed.
Why bother with this crap service when there are far better services like megaupload etc- they aint perfect either, but compared to sharingmatrix 10 times better!
just checked on my downloads a megaupload file is downloading nice and fast on first attempt at 409 kps
A sharingmatrix file (0n my 5th attempt !!!) is downloading at a pathetic 8.6 !
I correct that -its just cut off again at 68% done
its a sad joke!

Now when we're facing the dawn of Rapidshare (read the last news!), we'll be glad to have at least Sharingmatrix. I would rather see this was a joke, but I'm afraid it's not.
I must agree with most of the above comments, I can only afford one subscription, and I have always used Hotfile, I find the eternal waiting to access a sharingmatrix file infuriating, no offence to those who share through the goodness of their hearts but these days I just don't bother.

I would repeat as I said once: Download from your preferred filehosts and let others download from their preferred filehosts. Is that so hard to do?
I don't like people moaning and cursing over filehosts which work perfectly fine for many others!

well true we sometimes curse out of frustration, which perhaps we shouldnt..but re "using preferred filehost"-of course its not that simple- if the file you really want is not with your preferred host and you have no choice but to use another!

Performance of any file host will depend on your location and the time of day at which you are using the host. So, for different hosts you can try downloading at different times of the day and find the best download time for each host for you. The person posting will obviously do so with the host with which he is most comfortable.
Here is my offer.
If any member REALLY REALLY wants to download something but just cant do it due to slow host, you can site-PM me the thread URL and your preferred host. I will download the file and upload it to your preferred host, post the links in the same thread and inform you in site-PM.
The only issue i can see is that I can upload in premium account only for rapidshare. For other hosts I will have to use the free service which may store the file for limited downloads. But you have to make sure you download the file as soon as possible.

I bought a premium account and sm never sent a login name or password, I try using my email address for info but I never get a reply from them . how do you use sm premium. if someone could advice me I'd really appreciate it.

This is weird. You must contact them again. If you payed for the service, they must provide you everything what is needed to log in. Maybe you try to contact them through here. Write to smatrix who is the representative of Sharingmatrix on Gayheaven forum. I'm sure they will gladly help you.
