As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've never yet managed to successfully download a vid from sharingmatrix. I patiently wait for the requisite 10 minutes only to be told either that 'You cannot download now', or the clock starts counting down another 10 minutes...and another 10 minutes, and so on. I've tried at different times of the day and night without success. If anyone has cracked the secret then I'd be grateful if they could share it. Please don't suggest that I subscribe to their premium service as I already do that with Rapidshare and Hotfile.

In the end it's the people who vote with their mouse! If few bother downloading from a certain host, same as buying a certain brand in a supermarket, then either it will stop being used or it will improve

Here is my offer.

If any member REALLY REALLY wants to download something but just cant do it due to slow host, you can site-PM me the thread URL and your preferred host. I will download the file and upload it to your preferred host, post the links in the same thread and inform you in site-PM.

The only issue i can see is that I can upload in premium account only for rapidshare. For other hosts I will have to use the free service which may store the file for limited downloads. But you have to make sure you download the file as soon as possible.

I have checked most hosts for free service on my VPS and I get good speeds in all of them.[/COLOR]

Yeah, they are changing to Filesonic and Ive noticed a lot of little irks and strange things happening on their site. I hope they get things squared away soon because I think it's one of the better sites. Try it again, my downloads seem to work fine, even in the free account. I'm a big fan of Sharing Matrix, looking forward to Filesonic!

I was kind of reluctant to post a question about this, being a new member and all, and not really having much to share that hasn't been posted countless times already...but Sharingmatrix is the most unreliable site of this kind that I've ever encountered. How did it become so popular? It seems like every other thread is a Sharingmatrix post. I'm wondering if the problem is on my end because I assume everyone can't be having these issues or no one would use the site. For example, for the past week or so, I can download one file per day (as a free user). The rest of the time I get the "you can only download one file at a time message." And that's if I can get the page to open at all :thinking:

No the problem isn't with you, it seems a lot still have problems with it.

SAME PROBLEM HERE...but sometimes it gets worse...after a long day of trying, the download link FINALLY shows up and when I click on it it says "you cant download now" weird huh? >_<

SM always dropped my files when I was downloading, so I quit trying months ago. I'll give it another try, since so many people are using it to host files now. Their rates seem pretty reasonable.

The situation seems to be changing all the time. For example, I used to find Mediafire the easiest for downloads/uploads. Now, suddenly, it's sometimes difficult even to get a Mediafire link properly, never mind download something.
Maybe it's something to do with a lot of people no longer using Rapidshare since they changed their rules & now using other filesharers.
So it's probably best to have 2 or more accounts with different providers.

Anyone who is having problem with sharingmatrix I suggest using Jdownloader to download the files from there automatically with no waiting time:

I've been getting "502 Bad Gateway" messages every time I try to download from Sharingmatrix/FileSonic. I am a paid subscriber to the service.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I have downloaded some files and tried to extract them with winrar but it says that some files are corrupted. What should I do?

You should download them again. If it happens a second time, it's likely to be the original file that is corrupt.

I will tell you what the last week i just cant upload anything to filesonic .

I have try and try and just wont upload it gets going but never finish .I email them in the past and never got a answer im going to try again tomorrow then i just maybe done using there service.I dont know what else to do.
